On national news, Sen. Murkowski said that people should continue contacting their legislators about Trump.
Trump has fired many federal workers in Juneau. The price of food and gas has gone up in Juneau since he was elected. Immigrants in Juneau are afraid of what Trump may do to them. Cuts to Social Security staff threaten those of us on Social Security. The tariffs he has imposed threaten our retirement funds, make goods we buy here in Juneau harder to get from other countries and more expensive than they are now.
While Sen. Murkowski is standing up to Trump, Sen. Sullivan is not. We should take Sen. Murkowski’s advice and call and email Sen. Sullivan every day until he joins Sen. Murkowski and her opposition to Trump. It is up to us to take action and push Sullivan to join Murkowski.
