Is Murkowski part of the climate problem?

U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, is the Chairman of the Senate Energy and Natural Resource Committee and the most powerful person in the Senate to take action on climate change. She has the power and responsibility to protect Alaskans and provide for healthy environments and economies across both Alaska and the United States — yet she is doing nothing. Alaska is being hit harder than any other state by climate change, and we need Murkowski to use her role to take action. Unfortunately, she continues to avoid the issue. Is Sen. Murkowski really for Alaskans? Or is she for the big oil industries that fund her re-election campaigns and contribute to the source of the problem: climate change.
