Falcons salvage Shootout win

After losing their first two games in the Dimond Prep Shootout by a combined eight points, the Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team salvaged a win from the Anchorage tournament with a 52-41 Saturday win over North Pole.

Chase Saviers led the Falcons with 15 points, all of them coming from five 3-pointers. Luke Clark followed Saviers with 10 points while Noah Reishus-O’Brien added seven.

High scorers for North Pole were Craig Borba with 15 and Tyler Hudson with 10.

TMHS’ 11 3-pointers are the second most they’ve made all season.

The Falcons (4-5) host Colony Friday and Saturday at Thunder Mountain High School.
