It was a good afternoon for Jacob Dale.
The Juneau-Douglas High School pitcher began his work on the mound the same way he ended it Saturday afternoon against Sitka — striking out two of four batters. The junior also accounted for half of JDHS’ runs in the Crimson Bears’ 2-0 win over the Wolves. JDHS mustered four hits to the Wolves’ two. Dale ended the game with 10 strike outs.
The two teams squared off a second time Saturday, with Juneau-Douglas leading 5-1 in the third inning at press time.
