Juneau Soccer Club 3v3 World Cup Juniors Division winners from a tournament held earlier this month were: Mattias Carney, Elliot Costello, Miles Peterson and Ella Goldstein.

More than 150 youngsters turned out for the Juneau Soccer Club’s 3v3 World Cup Soccer Tournament held Nov. 14-15 at the Wells Fargo Diamond Park Fieldhouse.

The tournament, which began in 2012, gives players “a lot of chances to get touches on the ball and try their skills in a competitive environment,” according to JSC. The winning teams this year were: Italy (Developmental Division); Mexico (Pre-Competitive Division); Croatia (Juniors Division) and Norway (Senior Division).
