Juneau Rollergirls compete in Japan tonight

The Juneau Rollergirls are in Japan to compete in the inaugural Japan Open Roller Derby Tournament, Asia’s first roller derby tournament to include teams from the Asia-Pacific area. Only six Juneau women from the team were able to attend this two-day tournament in Okinawa.

The Juneau team won its first match Thursday.

The next game can be viewed live on Youtube at 5:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. at youtu.be/udx3lyF80dE. A countdown monitor can be found for the next game against the Tokyo Rollergirls. There is live streaming of the event at the Rendezvous in Juneau tonight at 5:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
