Falcons fly away with Region V title

The Thunder Mountain High School boys swim team totaled 154 points to win the Region V Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday.

The Falcons’ Spencer Holt and Casey Hamilton collected four individual titles, all while not worrying about setting personal bests.

The Sitka Wolves won the girls title with 163 total points. JDHS finished second with 119 points. Senior Andyn Mulgrew-Truitt swept the 50 and 100-yard freestyle sprints.
