Alma Trucano
Alma Trucano passed away on Dec. 15, 2015. She was three weeks short of turning 100 years old.
She was raised in South Dakota and moved to Juneau in 1937. She loved Alaska and never wanted to live elsewhere.
She is survived by her son, Douglas Trucano and his partner Carol Ackerson; daughter Carolyn Gould and her husband Alan; son James Trucano and wife Nadine; and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
