Assault

• At 9:15 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a fight in the 300 block of Whittier Street, and investigation continues into the reported assault. Alcohol was involved.

• At 12:13 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a report of assault in the 400 block of Gastineau Avenue. Alcohol was involved.

Burglary

• At 5:28 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 1400 block of Harbor Way.

• At 9:12 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a theft of a rifle in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 12:05 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated a burglary in the downtown area in the 300 block of Franklin Street.

Drunken driving

• At 10:39 p.m. Saturday, Alexander Marvel, 32, was arrested in the 117090 block of Glacier Highway for DUI and later provided a breath sample of 0.263 percent. His vehicle was impounded.

• At 3:02 a.m. Sunday, Raul Gautier, 41, was arrested in the 7100 block of Egan Drive for DUI and later provided a breath sample of 0.203 percent. His vehicle was impounded.

Sexual assault

• At 12:37 p.m. Saturday, confidential investigation into a report of sexual assault.

Shoplift

• At 12:42 p.m. Saturday, a 24-year-old man was reported stealing an unknown amount of merchandise and leaving the area in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Theft

• At 4:54 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft on Egan Drive.

• At 10:04 a.m. Sunday, a man reported a down rigger was stolen from his boat in the 1300 block of 3rd Street.

• At 11:01 a.m. Sunday, a 50-year-old woman reported her wallet was stolen in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.

Trespassing

• At 5:13 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of trespassing and theft in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Vandalism

• At 9:28 a.m. Sunday, investigation continues into the vandalism of a trail in the 3000 block of Fish Creek Road.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:37 a.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man reported his vehicle was rifled in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway and items were taken.
