Theft

• At 3:14 p.m. on Sunday, a 67-year-old man reported theft of $500.

• At 7:29 p.m. on Sunday, 21-year-old man reported his bag containing a laptop was stolen on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Traffic stop

• At 2:24 p.m. on Sunday, 21-year-old Brayden Allen Delane Erikson was cited and released for driving without a license.

• At 6:37 p.m. on Sunday, 50-year-old Trina Ray Hostetler was cited and released for driving with a revoked license on the 1900 block of Wickersham Avenue.

• At 7:34 p.m. on Sunday, 35-year-old Reyna Marie Regalado was cited and released for driving with a revoked license on the 1600 block of Douglas Highway. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

Reps. Tom McKay, R-Anchorage, and Andi Story, D-Juneau, offering competing amendments to a bill increasing the per-student funding formula for public schools by $1,250 during a House Education Committee meeting Wednesday morning. McKay’s proposal to lower the increase to $150 was defeated. Story’s proposal to implement an increase during the next two years was approved, after her proposed amounts totalling about $1,500 were reduced to $800.
