Police calls for Wednesday, July 18, 2018

Burglary

• At 10:16 a.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 9100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a burglary, theft and criminal mischief at a local business. Investigation continues.

Conditions violation

• At 7 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Charity Berkley, 27, in the 1200 block of Harbor Way for violating conditions of release. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Disorderly conduct

• At 6:57 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Gail Marvin, 54, in the 300 block of Fourth Street for disorderly conduct after provoking someone to a violent response. Alcohol was a factor.

Domestic violence

• At 6:10 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

• At 9:24 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 62-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. The man was taken to LCCC.

Theft

• At 7 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 1200 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a stolen Jeep Cherokee. The car was later recovered.

Vandalism

• At 7:09 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of graffiti. Investigation continues.

• At 7:49 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 8900 block of Duran Street to investigate the report of a 53-year-old woman who reported some bushes were stolen from her yard at some point during the night.

• At 8:18 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 8300 block of Airport Boulevard to investigate the report of vandalism to a parked and unoccupied car. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:03 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 9000 block of Cinema Drive to investigate the report of vehicle trespassing.

• At 10:09 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 24500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of vehicle rifling.

• At 10:18 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 24500 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of vehicle rifling in which a birth certificate was stolen.
