Police calls for Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019

Correction: The Juneau Police Department incorrectly reported that Daniel Foster Baxter struck a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old woman. He struck a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old man. The blotter has been updated to reflect this.

Assault

• At 2:34 a.m. on Sunday, a 22-year-old man was arrested for assault and violating conditions of release and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 6:33 a.m. on Sunday, a 45-year-old woman was arrested for domestic violence assault and taken to LCCC.

• At 8:59 a.m. on Sunday, 54-year-old Kathi Luana Peterson was arrested for assault on the 2500 block of Vista Drive and taken to LCCC.

Drunken driving

• At 5:03 p.m. on Saturday, 60-year-old Daniel Foster Baxter was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a BAC of .272 after striking a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old man on the 11800 block of Mendenhall Drive. Baxter was arrested and take to LCCC, and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Shoplifting

• At 5:44 p.m. on Saturday, 32-year-old Leon Dennis Paul was arrested for concealment of merchandise as well as an outstanding Juneau Police Department warrant on the 8700 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC.

• At 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, 47-year-old Oscar Lawrence Snell was arrested for disorderly conduct and larceny on the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue and taken to LCCC.

Theft

• At 10:42 a.m. on Sunday, 37-year-old Brock Edward McCourt was arrested for violating conditions of release and theft on Industrial Boulevard and taken to LCCC.

• At 10:07 a.m. on Monday, a 45-year-old man reported a theft from a local business on the 1400 block of Harbor Way.

Traffic stop

• At 2:11 p.m. on Sunday, 62-year-old Jonathan Herbert Sumner was cited and released for driving without a license on the 4400 block of Sesame Street and the vehicle he was driving was impounded. A passenger, 27-year-old Katrina Ethel Fraker, was arrested for two outstanding Alaska State Trooper warrants and taken to LCCC.

• At 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, 50-year-old Timothy Biden Foster was cited and released for driving without a license and violating the conditions of release on the 8200 block of Dogwood Lane and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Trespassing

• At 4:42 p.m. on Sunday, a 37-year-old was arrested for domestic violence-criminal mischief and criminal trespass and taken to LCCC.
