Police calls for Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2020

Assault

• At 3:17 a.m. on Monday, a 29-year-old man reported being assaulted by a 36-year-old man on the 300 block of Whittier Street.

• At 7:04 a.m. on Monday, a 48-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence-assault and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Conditions violation

• At 7:31 p.m. on Sunday, a 36-year-old woman reported a 35-year-old man violated an active protective order by contacting her.

Death

• At 2:27 p.m. on Sunday, there was an investigation into the death of a 61-year-old man on 1400 Harbor Way. The death isn’t considered suspicious, and the next of kin has been notified.

Domestic dispute

• At 9:11 p.m. on Sunday, a 34-year-old man was arrested for unlawful contact, resisting arrest, multiple assault on a police officer, and violating conditions of release, and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 4:37 p.m. on Sunday, 52-year-old Leon Venton Cain was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Egan Drive and taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

• At 12:54 p.m. on Sunday, a 58-year-old woman reported the theft of items from her home.

Traffic stop

• At 11:28 a.m. on Monday, 52-year-old Patrick Dennis Hill was cited and released for driving without a license on the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
