Police calls for Tuesday, Oct. 31

Burglary

• At 1:24 p.m. Saturday, a 66-year-old female reported to the Juneau Police Department that a handsaw had been stolen on the 8600 block of Hayes Way.

Domestic violence

• At 6:53 a.m. Sunday, JPD made an arrest for domestic violence assault, domestic violence criminal mischief and interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime in the Juneau area. The individual was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 9:13 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Anthony D. Church, 30, for driving under the influence in the 3300 block of Egan Drive.

Fight

• At 2 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the 3600 block of Amalga Street. The investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 2:08 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a traffic collision in the 2400 block of Egan Drive. A Ford pickup truck pulled in front of a Subaru, resulting in a collision damaging both vehicles.

Trespassing

• At 2:06 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Leon Paul, 30, for criminal trespass in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 2:37 p.m. Saturday, a vehicle was rifled and several personal items were stolen from the vehicle on the 8800 block of Mallard Street.

Theft

• At 4:30 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported to JPD that someone had stolen their cellphone in the 1700 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At 5:32 p.m. Saturday, JPD investigated the theft of fuel at a gas station on the 5100 block of Glacier Highway. The investigation continues.
