Police calls for Tuesday March 5, 2019

Attempt to serve

• At 4:18 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 8800 block of Egan Drive. Albert Martin Mazon, 28, was put under arrest, after resisting initial arrest and backing into a police officer with a car, according to a Juneau Police Department press release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Burglary

• At 2:59 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 2000 block of Radcliffe Court to a 41-year-old man’s report of a burglary at a storage unit.

• At 9:56 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 11000 block of Auke Lake Way. Jared Fortin, 34, was arrested for criminal trespassing. Fortin was taken to LCCC.

Disorderly conduct

• At 7:56 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Main Street. Shana Erickson, 33, was arrested for disorderly conduct and taken to LCCC.

Domestic dispute

• At 5:15 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 8800 block of Gail Avenue to a report of an altercation between roommates. The issue was determined to be civil in nature.

Domestic violence

• At 1:13 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the Juneau area. Edward Heeckt, 51, was arrested for domestic violence assault and taken to LCCC.

Fight

• At 8:58 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 9100 block of Cinema Drive. Jason Castaneda, 39, was arrested for interfering. He was taken to LCCC.

Suspicious activity

• At 11:57 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to Valley Boulevard. Veronic Morgan Trapp, 28, was arrested for driving under the influence. Trapp was later released.

Trespassing

• At 8:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the 8400 block of Steep Place to a 56-year-old man’s reports of a trespass.

Vandalism

• At 9:42 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the 3400 block of Foster Avenue. Investigation continues into a reported vandalism.
