For Thursday, Sept. 28

Assault

At 9:56 p.m. on Thursday, a woman was arrested for domestic violence assault and criminal trespass in the Juneau area. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Found Property

At 7:47 p.m. on Thursday, a case was created to document a firearm on Jacobsen Drive that was placed into safekeeping.

Harassment

At 2:42 p.m. on Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of harassment in the Juneau area.

Misuse of Plates

At 7:05 a.m. on Thursday, JPD began an investigation into the misuse of plates on Whittier Street.

Motor Vehicle Collision

At 3:53 p.m. on Thursday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle collision on Egan Drive. No injuries were reported.

Sex Crime

At 6:59 p.m. on Thursday, JPD began an confidential investigation into a report of child pornography.

Trespass

At 8:40 a.m. on Thursday, 31-year-old Kier Vergara was arrested on Teal Street for criminal trespass and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.

At 9:58 a.m. on Thursday, 40-year-old Michael Richard Joseph Selvar was arrested on Egan Drive for larceny, trespass and violating conditions of release. He was taken to LCCC.
