Police calls for Thursday, July 26, 2018

Assault

• At 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a juvenile in the 1600 block of Renninger Street for fourth-degree assault. Alcohol was a factor.

Burglary

• At 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 2800 block of Riverside Drive to investigate a report from the Juneau Racket Club that a safe with $300 had been stolen.

Death

• At 12:16 a.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a death in the 4400 block of Trafalgar Avenue.

Disorderly conduct

• At 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Maria McDaniel, 43, in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive for disorderly conduct.

Domestic violence

• At 5:50 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of domestic violence in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drug activity

• At 1:09 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential drug investigation in the Juneau area.

Fraud

• At 3:08 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the report of check fraud and theft in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 11:46 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 1100 block of Jacobsen Drive to investigate a motor vehicle crash. A pedestrian was taken to the hospital for minor injuries after a bus hit him. Read more on Wednesday’s A3 page.

Theft

• At 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8900 block of Birch Lane to investigate the report of a theft.

Vandalism

• At 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of vandalism to a vehicle in the downtown area. Alcohol was a factor. Investigation continues.

Warrant arrest

• At 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested James Cole Bottleson, 27, in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway for an outstanding Alaska State Troopers warrant. Bottleson was taken to LCCC.

• At 1:27 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Trevor Cole, 38, on Shattuck Way on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
