Police calls for Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018

Burglary

• At 4:01 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 8300 block of Airport Boulevard to investigate the report of a burglary from a residence. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 1:55 p.m. Monday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

Criminal mischief

• At 5:36 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Elliot B. Scott, 36, in the 3400 block of Foster Avenue for criminal mischief. Alcohol was a factor.

Domestic violence

• At 12:56 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 30-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 2:01 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested a 26-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. The man was taken to LCCC.

• At 3:03 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 33-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor.

Drunken driving

• At 3:17 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 17-year-old minor in the 3400 block of Meander Way for driving while intoxicated.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 5:03 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a two-vehicle crash in the 6200 block of Douglas Highway. No injuries were reported.

Shoplifting

• At 2:58 p.m. Monday, JPD cited and released Jacob Zinn, 36, in the 100 block of Franklin Street for larceny from Alaska Cache Liquor. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

• At 1:29 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 5900 block of Lund Street to investigate the report of a 76-year-old man who reported the theft of a bicycle.

• At 2:35 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a possible theft from a residence in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

• At 5:39 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive to investigate the report of a 35-year-old man who reported the theft of vehicle parts.

• At 11:10 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 2500 block of Teslin Street to investigate the report of a theft from a construction site.

Trespassing

• At 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Richard Clayton, 32, in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road for criminal trespass.

Vandalism

• At 12:58 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 3200 block of Hospital Drive to investigate the report of a vandalism in the 1000 block of Salmon Creek Lane. Investigation continues.

• At 5:43 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 4500 block of Kanata Street to investigate the report of vandalism to a home. Investigation continues.
