Police calls for Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018

Assault

• At 11:49 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 100 block of Front Street to investigate the report of a 42-year-old man who reported another man pulled a knife on him. Alcohol was a factor. The complaintant did not want to pursue charges.

• At 1:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 11400 block of Auke Bay Harbor Road to investigate the report of a 35-year-old man who reported he was assaulted by a 52-year-old man. Alcohol was a factor. The complaintant did not want to pursue charges.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 9:52 a.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

Drunken driving

• At 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Brandon Luck, 21, in the 4100 block of Columbia Boulevard for driving while intoxicated. Luck was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Indecent exposure

• At 2:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 5000 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of indecent exposure between two people.

Sex crime

• At 12:51 a.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 1:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 5900 block of Churchill Way to investigate the report of a 64-year-old man who reported his bicycle stolen. The man said the bike — a ruby red “girl’s” bicycle — was his primary source of transportation. The bicycle has a rack on the front for a milk crate (to carry groceries) and a mount on the right rear tire for a two-wheel cart.

• At 11:14 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 7500 block of Casa Bonita Court to investigate the report of a 54-year-old man reporting tools missing from a work site in the area.

Vehicle rifling

• At 11:18 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive to investigate the report of a 45-year-old woman who reported seeing someone rifle through her daughter’s vehicle.
