Assault

• At 9:59 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department investigated the report of an assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Child abuse/neglect

• At 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

Drug misconduct

• At 8:41 a.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Drunken driving

• At 7:28 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Bruce Bauer, 62, in the 2500 block of Mendenhall Loop Road for driving while intoxicated. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and the vehicle he was driving was impounded.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:53 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard to investigate the report of a 79-year-old man who reported his 2017 Toyota RAV4 was hit while parked, resulting in an unknown amount of damage. No injuries were reported.

Sex crime

• At 6:09 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into possible sexual abuse of a minor in the Juneau area.

• At 11:17 a.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of a sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Theft

• At 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a 35-year-old woman who reported a 28-year-old man stole her spray-painted black Subaru Forester.

• At 9:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested John Kobbe, 56, in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for vehicle theft and violating conditions of release. Kobbe was taken to LCCC.

• At 11:41 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 2200 block of Crow Hill Road to investigate the report of a 33-year-old man who reported a 28-year-old woman who stole $50 and his keys from him.

• At 6:50 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 4400 block of Riverside Drive to investigate the report of a 63-year-old woman who reported some property had possibly been stolen. It was later recovered.

• At 11:21 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to investigate the report of a 62-year-old man who reported his wallet was stolen and one of the cards in it was fraudulently used.

Trespassing

• At 3:23 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Seward Street to investigate the report of a man trespassing at a business.

Vandalism

• At 7:27 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the 3100 block of Douglas Highway to investigate the report of a 72-year-old woman and a 74-year old man who reported vandalism to their personal property.
