Motor vehicle crash

• At 12:12 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a motor vehicle collision in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway that caused an estimated $5,000 in damage to each of the two vehicles involved.

Sex crime

• At 8:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a sex crime in the Juneau area. Alcohol was a factor.

Theft

• At 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of jewelry theft in the 9400 block of Brady Place. Investigation continues.

• At 7:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 37, in the 4400 block of Columbia Boulevard who reported the theft of heating fuel from her home.

• At 3:18 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of fraudulent use of an access device in the 5400 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 8:43 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of vandalism to a vehicle in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. The vandalism resulted in an estimated $300 in damage. Investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 61, in the 200 block of Franklin Street who reported that her vehicle was rifled and her white wallet was taken. The wallet was later found in the vehicle.

Weapons misconduct

• At 8:06 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Adam S. Murphy, 19, in the 1500 block of Renninger Street for third-degree misconduct involving weapons.
