Police calls for Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019

Assault

• At 11:46 a.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department arrested 59-year-old Donald Frederick Allan on the 1900 block of Allen Court for assault. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Controlled substance

• At 11:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited and released 24-year-old Asia Griffin on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for fourth-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance.

Death

• At 9 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a call on the 17100 block of Glacier Highway where a 69-year-old man was found dead. The death isn’t considered suspicious and next-of-kin have been notified.

Domestic dispute

• At 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 35-year-old woman in the Juneau area for domestic assault. The woman was transported to LCCC.

• At 3:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 42-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic assault. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 5:10 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 45-year-old man in the Juneau area for assaulting a 43-year-old woman. He was taken to LCCC.

Vandalism

• At 6:53 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a call on the 8100 block of Glacier Highway where a 45-year-old man reported a 31-year-old man threw a soda can at his vehicle causing a dent. Investigation continues.
