For Monday, Sept. 2

Assault

At 8:19 p.m. on Monday, 59-year-old Harol Hassell was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct on Mendenhall Mall Road. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

At 2:27 p.m. on Monday, the Juneau Police Department initiated an investigation into the death of a 64-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

At 2:29 p.m. on Monday, JPD initiated an investigation into the death of a 60-year-old male. The death is not considered suspicious and next of kin has been notified.

Disturbance

At 4:21 p.m. on Monday, JPD initiated an investigation into a reported assault on Glacier Highway.

Domestic Dispute

At 10:03 a.m. on Monday, a case was created by JPD for information only on Lawson Creek Road.

Motor Vehicle Collision Without Injury

At 12:11 p.m. on Monday, a 19-year-old female driving a 2003 Volkswagen struck a 2013 Ford driven by a 21-year-old male.

Theft

At 10:04 p.m. on Monday, JPD began an investigation on Douglas Highway into a reported fear assault and false information.

Traffic Stop

At 1:26 a.m. on Monday, 30-year-old Tyler Phillips was arrested on Glacier Highway on a $50 warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving while intoxicated. He was taken to LCCC.

Trespassing

At 7:10 p.m. on Monday, 48-year-old Angela Galeana was arrested for criminal trespassing on Teal Street. She was taken to LCCC.
