Police calls for Monday, Oct. 16, 2017

Burglary

• At 9:41 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of vandalism and trespassing to a storage shed in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 8:26 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 55-year-old Vincent Stovall for driving while intoxicated and without a license. Stovall provided a sample of his breath which revealed a blood alcohol content of .144 percent. He was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held on $500 bail.

Hunting violation

• On Friday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers, Juneau Post, issued Adam Brown, age 31, a citation for taking a brown bear without first obtaining a permit. Brown was issued a $160 fine for the offense out of the Juneau District Court.

Theft

• At 12:24 p.m. Thursday, a 41-year-old male reported the theft of a propane tank in the 1600 block of Glacier Avenue.

• At 3:08 p.m. Thursday, 26-year-old William Hitchens was arrested on two Juneau Police Department warrants in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. He was additionally charged with concealment of merchandise.

• At 7:33 p.m. Thursday, a 41-year-old male reported a theft in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.

• At 8:02 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 3100 block of Dimond Park Loop.
