Child abuse/neglect

• At 11:19 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department conducted a confidential investigation into the report of child abuse.

Domestic violence

• At 11:04 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 33-year-old man in the Juneau area for violating conditions of release. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 6:38 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 29-year-old man in the Juneau area for violating a protective order. He was taken to LCCC.

• At 8:39 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 34-year-old man in the Juneau area for criminal trespass involving domestic violence. Alcohol was a factor.

Drug misconduct

• At 5:09 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Sex crime

• At 1:21 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of a sexual assault.

• At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of a sexual assault.

Theft

• At 4:23 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 100 block of Seward Street to investigate a 44-year-old woman’s report of a laptop, a docking station and a power cord were stolen from a business. The items are worth an estimated $2,200. Investigation continues.

• At 4:38 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Douglas Highway to investigate a 48-year-old man’s report of a stolen 1997 Mercury Tracer. The vehicle was later recovered.

Trespassing

• At 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 4100 block of Aspen Avenue to investigate a 51-year-old woman’s report that a 49-year-old man violated a protective order.

Vandalism

• At 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Glacier Highway to investigate a 20-year-old man’s report of vandalism to a vehicle immobilizing device.
