Juneau’s 4th COVID-19 case confirmed

The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Friday confirmed Juneau’s fourth case of COVID-19, according to City and Borough of Juneau.

Officials with the state Division of Public Health will initiate a contact investigation and reach out to any person who may have come into contact with this person, according to CBJ. Public Health will notify and isolate additional persons as appropriate.

CBJ did not state whether the newly confirmed case was travel-related or a case of close contact with a previously confirmed case.
