Fire and medical

• On Wednesday, Capital City Fire/rescue responded to 16 EMS calls and five medical transports in the area throughout the day.

• At 7:28 p.m. Wednesday, CCFR responded to a fire alarm on Ninth Street that had been triggered by burnt food.
