FBI seeks info in Anchorage bank robbery

The FBI Anchorage Field Office wants information to help identify an Anchorage bank robber, the agency announced late Thursday afternoon.

The robbery took place at 1:24 p.m. on Wednesday at the Wells Fargo branch located at 301 West Northern Lights Boulevard in Anchorage, according to the FBI.

A man entered the bank, presented a demand note and indicated he was armed, according to the FBI. The suspect is a white male with brown hair and facial hair, about 5-foot-10 and weighs roughly 200 pounds.

At the time of the robbery the suspect wore a gray Carhartt sweatshirt, light-colored jogger-style pants and a gray backpack with MOLLE webbing, according to the FBI.
