Sidney D. Heidersdorf, 81, formerly of Kenosha, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2018, in Seattle, Washington, surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bertha Heidersdorf, brother Bill and sisters Arlene Gahart, Jean Tenuta and Vivian Wagner. He is survived by one sister, Audrey Rust.
He is also survived by his wife of 54 years, Joan and children Sharon, Marie (Scott) Elmenhurst, Harold (Jennifer), Rosanne (Chris) Wilhelm and Ted (Katie) and by a legacy of 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. in Juneau at the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. He will be interned at Alaska Memorial Park.
