The buses are running downtown again.
Capital Transit buses are back on their normal routes following about three months of not running downtown. Construction on North Franklin Street was affecting traffic and made Capital Transit buses alter their routes starting in mid-August.
Service resumed Thursday to Franklin Street, Fourth Street and Main Street. The latest phase of improvements to Franklin Street wrapped up recently, and traffic has returned to normal downtown. Anybody with further questions is asked to call Capital Transit at 789-6901.
