Boat capsizes at Fisherman’s Bend

A 26-foot boat capsized while docked at Andrews Marina inside Fisherman’s Bend on Tuesday. Based on information received from the United States Coast Guard Maritime Information Exchange, the boat was built in 1990 and serves as a recreational vehicle.

While Fisherman’s Bend did not identify the cause of the boat’s sinking or the boat’s owner, Chuck Burton with Fisherman’s Bend said that plans were being made to pull the boat out of the water by Wednesday.
