The Greater Sitka Arts Council has announced the theme and date of its 2016 Wearable Art Show. The theme for this year’s show is “Alaska and 8 Stars” and the date is Saturday, March 26 at the Performing Arts Center. A matinee and evening show will be presented.
Artists are not required to follow the theme.
A mandatory dress rehearsal will be held Friday, March 25. Registration forms with information including artists’ music will be available within the next month and the deadline for registering is Feb. 29. Tickets go on sale two weeks in advance at Old Harbor Books.
