The Juneau Valley of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite welcomed two new members at its 2017 Reunion, held April 27-29 at the Juneau Masonic Center. Front row, center, are James Herr and Alex Simpson, the two men who became 32° Scottish Rite Masons at the event. They are holding the portrait of Ed Nygard, a 33° Scottish Rite Mason from Juneau who died earlier this year. The reunion was dedicated to Nygard’s memory. The reunion was the Valley’s first at the new Juneau Masonic Center and in the new Scottish Rite Temple. (Courtesy Photo)
