Juneau resident Doug Jones will next Thursday talk at the Juneau Audubon Society’s Feb. 11 program about killer and humpback whales. The talk is called “Killer and Humpback Whales: What We Don’t See.” Since whales spent about 90% of their time underwater, we know less about them than you might think. Last summer, Jones did a show on whales for passengers on the Disney Wonder cruise ship; this is part of that show. Please join and share your own whale stories afterwards.
The program is Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. in the UAS Recreation Center, room 116, and is free and open to the public.
