Kantner, Heacox in Juneau for book signing

Two authors whose works frequently focus on Alaska’s outdoors will be in Juneau signing new works within the next few days. First is Seth Kantner, who Saturday, Sept. 26 will be at Hearthside Books in the Nugget Mall from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m signing copies of his new nonfiction collection, “Swallowed by the Great Land: And Other Dispatches from Alaska’s Frontier.” Gustavus-based author Kim Heacox will be at Hearthside in the Nugget mall Monday, Sept. 28 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., signing copies of his new novel, “Jimmy Bluefeather.” To read an article about the novel, visit http://www.capitalcityweekly.com/stories/091615/ae_1258750769.shtml.
