Christmas in Space at the Marie Drake Planetarium

The Marie Drake Planetarium will feature a free presentation on “Christmas in Space” Tuesday, Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m.

University of Alaska Southeast astronomy professor Rosemary Walling will be the featured speaker. She’ll share astronaut history and stories, and will show space station footage and “pretty space images,” according to a release.

The free presentation will be preceded by “The Stars Tonight,” showing that night’s sky in Juneau on the planetarium’s Spitz projector.
