Celebrate 40 years with JLO

The Juneau Lyric Opera (JLO) is celebrating 40 years of vocal and theatrical programming at its Anniversary Gala on Friday, July 29, 7 p.m. at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall.

JLO’s Gala will present a music program featuring local singers such as Juneau gem, Kathleen Wayne, the “singing surgeon” David Miller, popular “Who’s Your Diva?” divas Patricia Hull, Cheryl Crawford, and Megan Felts, renowned tenor Mark Calvert, and many more. Our Juneau artists along with special guests Tess Altiveros and Mark Kratz will perform highlights from JLO’s first 40 years and excerpts from upcoming productions.

The evening will also feature complimentary tapas catered by V’s Cellar Door, a no-host bar, and a live auction. Tickets are $40 per person or $320 for a pre-reserved table of eight. Available at the JAHC, Hearthside Books and www.juneauopera.org.
