Hats off to Alaska’s medical and emergency services professionals for the amazing job they are doing seeing all of us through the COVID-19 pandemic.
They have already visited many small bush communities with “the jab,” a logistical experience known to few who do not live out here.
While in Juneau, my doctor sent me to the seniors’ clinic at Centennial Hall on Feb. 12, and the many professionals there had me in and out the door in less than a half hour, relieved and impressed.
It would be hard to describe how well everyone involved worked together to help so many Alaska seniors get through what to many could be a frightening experience.
Thank you all,
Pelican Mayor Walt Weller
