Anyone who would take $460 million from the Juneau economy will never receive my vote. That is exactly what Gov. Bill Walker did. This money would have provided $30-$40 dollar an hour jobs for the Juneau area for at least five to seven years.
This governor then took half of your Permanent Fund Dividend check. If you are happy with these decisions, then you are very rich, or you simply don’t care.
Oil is back up to $70 per barrel. It’s funny, this administration does not want to talk about that; could it be they would like to keep you in the dark?
I will not try and tell you how to vote — you can figure this out on your own — but I do not want to lose the other half of my PFD, so this governor will not get mine.
