Opinion: Vote Galvin for a new ‘Alyse on life’

Alaska’s population is the most spread out of all the fifty states at one person per square mile. We are diverse, and we are separated by thousands of miles of rugged land and open water. It’s easy to avoid eye-contact and with it all contact in Alaska. Only one of the candidates running to represent you in Washington, D.C. has made the effort to make contact throughout the state to sit down and listen and connect with Alaskans about what we are feeling, thinking and needing in 2018 and beyond. Alyse Galvin cares enough about Alaskans to do this work, and she’s ready to take our voice to Washington.

Alyse knows we need our children to be healthy and learning and growing. She knows we need good jobs for their future in a strong economy and a strong environment. She knows we value our history and our future and require a thriving balance that keeps both vital for all ages and communities no matter how diverse or how isolated.

It’s time for a “new Alyse on life” in Alaska. Vote Alyse Galvin for U.S. House of Representatives and step into a healthy future.
