Juneau residents Norman and Leona Williams celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Feb. 6, 2010. They were married on Feb. 6, 1960, in Hoonah. Two of their sons, August and Willie, with them happy anniversary and "many more."

Larissa "Lacey" Roop and Brad Brian, both of Juneau, were married in a small ceremony on Jan. 20, 2010, with close friends and family and the couple's two children Jaiden and Logan. The ceremony was performed by the bride's Aunt Toni Rae Petrie on Sandy Beach. A reception was held on Jan. 23 at the Eagles Lodge.

Lisa-Marie Polk, of Juneau, and Aleksandar Ikonomov, of Pernik, Bulgaria, were married on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, 2009, at sunset on the beach at Kiehi in Maui, Hawaii. The couple met last summer at the Mount Roberts Tramway.

Phil Teel and Jeannie Sanford were married Nov. 29, 1959, at the Meriden Methodist Church in Meriden, Kansas. The Teels arrived in Juneau in 1960. Their three daughters were all born in Juneau. In 1970, they adopted their son, Art.
