FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. Do I have to pay to use the site?
No. There is no subscription charge to use the site.

2. Why should I register?
So you can have full access to all stories and exclusive Web-only features on juneauempire.com

3. How do I register?
Just fill out our simple registration form. You will be asked these questions:
Name
E-mail address
Postal address
Zip Code
Birthday
Gender

4. Why are you asking for all this personal information?
Two primary reasons: If we know more about the people using our site and how they use it, we can tailor our content to meet more people's needs. Also, we can offer the site for free because it is advertiser-supported. But advertisers, rightfully so, need to know as much as they can about the people viewing their messages. Up to this time, we did not know much about our users. We have some pretty good ideas who they are, but this will give us some real data to use.

5. I have registered for other services and features on juneauempire.com. Will I need to register again?
If you have previously registered for our classified advertising "New Ad Notifier" you are already registered. For any other registrations you will have to register again. Eventually, we will have one registration for all services on juneauempire.com.
