Daniel, Capacci wed

Christina Capacci, of Juneau, and J. Furman Daniel III, of Greenville, S.C., were married on April 5, 2008, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, D.C. A reception was held at Fort McNair Officier's Club along the Potomac River during cherry blossom season. There was a fireworks display just outside the reception site in honor of the National Cherry Blossom Festival.

The bride is the daughter of George and Kathleen Capacci. A Juneau-Douglas High School and Seattle University graduate, she is a doctoral candidate in chemistry at Georgetown University.

The groom is the son of John F. and Mary Ann Daniel, and Roger and Mary Berry. A University of Chicago graduate, he is a doctoral candidate in political science and international relations at Georgetown University.

The maids of honor were the bride's sisters, Natalie Capacci and Anna Capacci. Bridesmaids were Lael Harrison, Genevieve Gagne-Hawes, Katherine Rue Bollinger and Ellie Daniel.

The best men were the groom's father, John F. Daniel, and brother, Lawson Berry. Groomsmen were Ben Ereshefsky, Bob McKenzie, Twister Murchison and Andrew Capacci.

The couple honeymooned in Venice, Italy, and Vienna, Austria, and they make their home in Washington, D.C., until graduation this spring.
