Suspect pleads not guilty in rape case

ANCHORAGE - A man accused of sexually assaulting at least five women in Anchorage pleaded not guilty to all charges.

At Monday's arraignment the superior court trial for 43-year-old Richard Dorsey was set for Feb. 8. The Anchorage Daily News reported he's accused of picking up and assaulting women who were walking along roads in the past eight years.

Dorsey has already been convicted of second-degree sexual assault for sticking his hand up a woman's skirt in July 2006 at a store.

While Dorsey was on trial in that case, police snatched a water cup he had used in court and matched DNA evidence from it to an unsolved rape.
