Ferry schedule changes affect city
JUNEAU - The Alaska Marine Highway System announced some ferry schedule changes that may affect Juneau passengers in the coming days.
The Ferry LeConte will change a Hoonah sailing to assist volleyball and wrestling teams reach Juneau.
The LeConte's Nov. 21 sailing will leave Hoonah at 11:15 a.m. and arrive in Juneau at 2:30 p.m. The LeConte will return to Hoonah on its original schedule Nov. 22.
The Taku will alter its Nov. 23 arrival at Prince Rupert to avoid a port conflict there. On that date the Taku will depart from Ketchikan 45 minutes earlier than had been scheduled.
The Taku will set sail from Ketchikan at 11 a.m. and arrive in Prince Rupert at 6 p.m., where it will have a three-hour layover and return to Ketchikan Nov. 24 at 2:15 a.m.
