Island Pub goaltender Jessica Parks stopped 18 of 20 shots in defeat.

TIER A

Island Pub 5, Play It Again Sports 5

Tom Walls' goal with less than a minute in the third period gave Play It Again Sports a well-earned tie with the Island Pub on Sunday.

Walls had two goals and two assists in the tie while James Sheehan had two goals and Anders Peterson posted one goal and two assists in the win.

For the Island Pub, Lance Miller had two goals while Blake Galvin posted a goal and three assists. Dan Teske added two goals and one assist in the tie for the Island Pub.

Chip Verrelli stopped 25 of 30 shots for the Island Pub while Play It Again Sports goaltender Clayton Jernigan made 27 saves.

TIER B

Orange 3, Island Pub 1

Randy Host, Brian Van Kirk and Robert Jones all scored while Stephan Byers posted an assist as the Orange defeated the Island Pub on Monday.

Stephen Morrison stopped 29 of 30 shots in the win, allowing just one goal to the Island Pub's Duncan Watt.

Tod Young and Kevin Dickman picked up the assists on Watt's tally.

Darryl Tseu made 12 saves in defeat.

WOMEN'S B

Blue 4, Red 4

Jessica Parks scored a hat trick for the Red to seal a draw with the Blue Team on Sunday.

Karn Hickok added a goal and assist while Liz Johnston, Laurie DiCarlo and Julie Leary added assists for the Red.

The Red's Molly McCormick made 16 saves

For the Blue, Dorothy Hernandez scored twice while Gina White and Stephanie Kohlhase added goals.

Debbie Vance picked up an assist in the draw while Cecile Elliott turned aside 17 shots.

TIER C

Blue 3, D.K. Mining 2

J.J. Vollenweider broke a 2-2 tie in the third period off an assist from Liam Carnahan to give the Blue team a win Sunday.

Carnahan also scored a goal, as did Chad Hood, in the win. Glenn Miller contributed an assist for the Blue team.

Jeffrey Goetz picked up the win in goal after stopping 22 shots.

For D.K. Mining, Josh McAdoo posted a goal and assist, Mason Morriss scored and Jason Bluhm added an assist in defeat.

Wayne Coleman made 18 saves in the loss.

TIER D

Grey 5, Green 3

Evan Bixby and Zach Mickelsen scored two goals each in Sunday's win over the Green team.

Kent Hart added a goal while Steve Lewis, Tina Martin and James Harvey chipped in assists for the Grey.

Gene Cheeseman made 20 saves for the win.

Mark Baker, Chad DuBois and Andrew Schwarz all scored goals and David Seid had an assist for the Grey.

Scott Sell turned back 23 of 28 shots faced.

GEEZERS VS. CHICKS

Round three of one of Juneau's most colorful rivalries takes place Nov. 26 at 2:45 p.m. at Treadwell Arena as the Geezers in Breezers and Chicks With Sticks take to the ice for a charity game.

The Chicks feature Juneau's best girls and women's players while the Geezer are comprised of men in their 50s and 60s.

There is no admission fee but donations will be accepted at the door and will benefit the Juneau Outdoor Skating Initiative and Culture Club Hockey.
