Capsized boat tied to governor's aide

JUNEAU - The Anchorage Daily News reported that a fishing boat which capsized near Unalaska Island, prompting a rescue of four fishermen, is owned by a company registered to an aide of Gov. Sean Parnell.

Public records show the Carley Renee to be owned by Carley Renee LLC, a company registered to 48-year-old John Moller. Moller, a rural affairs adviser to Parnell, could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Coast Guard rescued four fishermen from a life raft after the 59-foot vessel capsized Friday. The vessel carried an estimated 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel and 20 gallons of lube oil, and the Coast Guard said it will need to be salvaged.
