Lori Wyant of Collingwood, Ontario, and Liam Higgins of Juneau were married Sept. 18, 2004, at Alpine Ski Club in Collingwood, where a reception also followed.

The bride is the daughter of Peggy Young. She is a graduate of Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. She is a nurse at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

The groom is the son of Brenda Knapp and Arthur Higgins. He is a graduate of the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, N.M. He is a facilities manager for JAMHI.

The matron of honor was Tara Campbell. Bridesmaids were Shelby Ferguson, Erin Pellar and Fran Bowman. The best man was Jack Schmidt. Groomsmen were Jacob Higgins, Joey Booth and Corey Ferguson. Ushers were the bride's brothers, Jeremy Wyant, Trevor Wyant and Mike Wyant.

The newlyweds took their honeymoon in New England and Nova Scotia.

They will make Juneau their home.
