Drunken driving:
Police arrested Lucas Dare, 20, on a charge of drunken driving at 2:45 a.m. Saturday near Ninth Street in Juneau. He was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and his vehicle was impounded.

Vandalism:
Two tires were reported slashed on a 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser at 12:07 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of Whittier Avenue downtown.
Noise complaint:
Police cited a man, 24, on a charge of disturbing the peace at 9:01 p.m. Thursday in the 9800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
Underage drinking:
Police cited a man, 20, on a charge of underage drinking at 12:07 am. Friday in the 4400 block of Columbia Boulevard in the Mendenhall Valley.
Police cited three boys, 17, on an underage drinking charge at 7:45 p.m. Friday near the Mendenhall Campground. They were released.
Traffic stop:
Police impounded a vehicle at 10:53 a.m. Friday in the 6200 block of Glacier Highway in the Lemon Creek area after citing the driver, a man, 18, on a charge of driving without a license.
Motor vehicle accidents:
A woman, 37, was cited on a charge of failure to maintain a safe distance at 5 p.m. Friday near Egan Drive and Salmon Creek. Her vehicle, a 1994 Jeep Cherokee, was involved in an accident with a 1992 Ford Taurus driven by a man, 57.
A girl, 17, was cited on a charge of failure to maintain a safe distance at 6:40 p.m. Friday the McNugget intersection. Her vehicle, a 1996 Honda Civic, was involved in an accident with a 2002 Subaru Forester driven by a woman, 37. Both drivers visited Bartlett Regional Hospital for reported injuries.
Animal encounters:
Bears were reportedly seen Thursday at 8:11 p.m. in the 4900 block of Wren Drive in the Mendenhall Valley and 9:49 p.m. Thursday in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive in the Lemon Creek area.
A sow and two cubs were reported getting into garbage at 8:45 p.m. Friday near Poppy Court.
A sow and two cubs were reported in a tree at 1:30 a.m. Saturday near University Drive.
Thefts:
A man, 18, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. Friday near Willoughby Avenue of a shoplifting charge. He was lodged at the state prison.
A woman reported at 8:20 a.m. Saturday near Willoughby Avenue the theft of a red leather purse that contained cash, jewelry and prescription glasses, all together worth $2,000.
