ANCHORAGE - An Anchorage-based carrier is delivering emergency supplies to Samoa and Indonesia to support relief efforts following earthquakes and a tsunami.
Lynden Air Cargo tells the Anchorage Daily News it's flying water, blankets, beds and other supplies.
It has positioned an L100-30 Hercules aircraft in Australia and Singapore to fly supplies into disaster areas. Such flights started Oct. 1.
Lynden says it has six Hercules positioned worldwide specializing in serving remote sites.
